Any News On That Trophy, Andy?

How's it coming?

Jonny Tal, Jonny Tal!

Not to mention Jeremie's Mom.

If you were there today, this needs no explanation. If you weren't, I can't help you.

Today's Action: Day 7 Results!

My throat hurts....

Game 1:

The Chug-A-Lugs (Guido/Voss) vs. Beaver Patrol (Dovi/Jonny T)

...and to tell you the truth, I was screaming and laughing so much, that I scarcely remember what happened during the game. Seriously. Everyone was so keyed up and ready for excitement, that two schoolgirls playing hopscotch would have easily sparked cheering at those ear-splitting levels. When I stood up to leave, I had to brace myself with a hand on the wall because I was lightheaded. I wasn't the only one, either. A certain homemade-megaphone-toting hyena was also left short of breath. Shocking, I know.

Oh, that's right. The Game. I haven't forgotten. Well, I can't recall seeing so many people quite so fired up about such incredibly boring table tennis. Not to say that the scores weren't close, because they were. Tight, right up until the end, which certainly breeds some intense drama. The problem was with the cojones. I think that if you combined all of the vertebrae at Centre Court, you might have had a grand total of one spine. Perhaps it was the sonic onslaught that had the players fearful, but they played to not lose. I think there was one slam. Or at least a half slam. Very defensive pong. Too bad, though. I can only imagine the psychosis we might have seen from the crowd had the game been more exciting. Maybe it's all for the best, then. Perhaps we dodged a bullet.
